What is the relationship between Judaism and/or Jewish culture and your poetry?
I write poems on many themes, including Judaism, and Jewish culture. Poems that include aspects of Judaism and Jewish culture include: \\\”Gramma\\\’s Strudel\\\” (published in Your Daily Poem, Sept. 22, 2022), \\\”Leftover Kugel\\\” (published in Poetica, 2022), \\\”Quartering an Apple,\\\” Salvation South, forthcoming. In addition, I was responsible for getting the Jewfish name, changed to goliath grouper and published on that experience here. I continue to be an activist fighting antisemitism, and have been both a JNF and Schusterman Fellow, and former chair of the STEM section of the Academic Engagement Network.
