Maximilian Heinegg

Biography
Max Heinegg is a poet, teacher, musician, and brewery owner who lives in Medford, Massachusetts.
His first book of poems, Good Harbor (2022), won the inaugural Paul Nemser Prize from Lily poetry press. His work focuses on family, nature, travel, and politics. He has published nearly 300 poems, And his work has appeared in six different countries.
As an educator, he has taught high school and middle school for 25 years. As a musician, he has released nine records, four of which are solo records of original music and lyrics, and one record that is adaptations of poetry from the public domain. All of his music is available on the Internet.
Outside of the arts, he is an award-winning brewer and the brewmaster and cofounder of Medford Brewing Company.
