Yetzirah Book Club
With a deep dive into four poetry collections; talks by authors, scholars, and translators; and opportunities for discussion, we invite you to join us in savoring and celebrating an expansive range of Jewish poetry.
Each season will feature:
- a book by a poet no longer living
- a contemporary poet
- a book of poetry in translation
- an international poet

Fall 2023
October 15 (12 pm ET) Bert Meyers: On the Life and Work of an American Master
A reading and conversation with editor Dana Levin, as well as Maurya Simon and Sean Singer, who contributed essays to this book, with host Rick Chess.
December 3 (12 pm ET) Victoria Redel, Paradise
A reading and conversation with Victoria Redel, with host Rick Chess.
Spring 2024
A reading and conversation with editors Carolyn Forché and Ilya Kaminsky, with host Yerra Sugarman.
April 7 (12 pm ET): Linda Zisquit, Havoc: New & Selected Poems
A reading and conversation with Linda Zisquit, with host Rick Chess.
