Ava Winter
Biography
Ava Nathaniel Winter is the author of a poetry chapbook, Safe House. Their poetry has appeared in The Baffler, Beloit Poetry Journal, Best New Poets, Grist, Meridian, Ninth Letter, Poetry International, Room, TriQuarterly, and Tupelo Quarterly. Ava holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University and a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln. Their writing has also been supported by an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council and a Stadler Fellowship from Bucknell University.
